Privacy policy
This policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website. We only use analytics and marketing services if you agree in the cookie banner. Fonts and images come from our own server. Some content from other providers loads without a click because the site needs it to work: the videos on the home page, the booking system and the forms for vouchers and the newsletter. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider. Which service loads when is described in the sections below.

Visiting the website (server log files)
This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data, including your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring link and information about your browser and operating system. This processing is required to deliver the website and keep it secure; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in safe and reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not combined with other sources.
Fonts
All fonts are loaded from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service.
Background videos
Silent background videos play on the home page. They load with the page and are delivered through the content delivery network of BunnyWay d.o.o. (“Bunny.net”, Cesta Komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia). Your IP address is transmitted to this service, as this is technically unavoidable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering large media files quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
YouTube videos in the gallery
The gallery contains videos hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Nothing is loaded before you click. At first you only see a still image from our own server. Only when you choose to load and play the video is a connection to YouTube established and your IP address transmitted. We use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking. Google’s privacy policy:policies.google.com/privacy.
3D tour on the home page
On the home page you can open a virtual tour of the Mountain Village. It is provided by v8a moving pictures GmbH and hosted on their servers. Nothing is loaded before you click. Only when you press “3D Tour” is the connection established and your IP address transmitted; the tour also loads an analytics service of the provider (analytics.moving-pictures.biz). When you close the tour, the embed is removed again. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking.
Online booking and prices
Booking, price list and availability run on the booking system Booking Südtirol (Booking Südtirol GmbH, South Tyrol, Italy). On the booking andprices pages it loads with the page; on the chalet pages, as soon as you choose “Book”. On the overview of chalets and lodges the page asks the system which accommodation is free as soon as you choose dates; the dates and the number of guests are sent to the provider. Your IP address is transmitted to the provider’s servers, including for the photos of the accommodation, which the system loads from its image server (easychannel.it). The details you enter there are processed to handle your booking. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): these pages serve no other purpose than prices and booking, and you visit them for that reason.
Enquiry form
The form on the enquiry page comes from the same provider as the booking system (Booking Südtirol). It also loads when you open the page, and your IP address is transmitted to the provider’s servers; we process the details you enter to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep your enquiry for as long as necessary to handle it and to meet statutory retention periods.
Vouchers and newsletter
You can buy vouchers on the vouchers page and subscribe to the newsletter at the bottom of every page. Both are provided by ADDITIVE GMBH (Lana, Italy). The voucher form loads with the page, the newsletter form as soon as you scroll to the bottom of the page. Your IP address is transmitted to ADDITIVE’s servers; ADDITIVE delivers parts of the forms (program code, images) via Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3) and the image service imgix. The legal basis for loading them is our legitimate interest in offering vouchers and the newsletter directly on the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). What happens to the details you enter is described in the following sections.
ADDITIVE+ VOUCHERS
On our website you have the possibility to buy vouchers by using the integrated voucher software. To process your purchase and to save and store your data we use software provided by ADDITIVE GMBH, 39011 Lana (BZ), Italy (“ADDITIVE”) in the context of voucher marketing. Through the use of these services and systems your data will be processed and stored in the EU.
The data you provide is required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude a contract with you. The data will not be transferred to an outside third party, except for your credit card data which will be transferred to the payment provider and to our tax accountant to fulfil our tax obligations.
The data processing takes place in accordance with the requirements of art. 6 para. 1 lit b (processing necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR.
ADDITIVE+ NEWSLETTER
On our website you have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. For the subscription we need your email address and your consent to receive our newsletter through ADDITIVE, our provider for hotel e mail marketing. To provide you with relevant information we also gather and process voluntary information concerning interests, name, date of birth and country/region of origin in our hotel newsletter tool.
After signing up for our newsletter you will receive an email containing a link to confirm the subscription.
Your subscription can be cancelled any time by clicking on the cancellation link in the respective newsletter.
To process your subscription, to send our newsletter and to determine openings and clicks we use software provided by ADDITIVE SRL, 39011 Lana (BZ), Italy (“ADDITIVE”). ADDITIVE uses the mailing service provider “Sinch Mailjet”, Paris, France to handle the secure delivery of the newsletter. Through the use of these services and systems your data will be processed and stored, at least in part, also outside of the EU or the EEC. The adequate level of data protection is based on data processing agreements.
ADDITIVE+ MARKETING AUTOMATION: Direct Marketing
In order to increase customer loyalty and to sell our services and additional services we use hotel online marketing software provided by ADDITIVE GMBH, 39011 Lana (BZ), Italy (“ADDITIVE”) within the field of hotel marketing automation. Therefore your data, which we gather and process in connection with your request, reservation, order, activation, registration or the transmission of other contact forms on our website, will be analysed and used to provide you with automatically generated offers for our services and additional services. Through the use of these services and systems your data will be processed and stored, at least in part, also outside of the EU or the EEC. The adequate level of data protection is based on data processing agreements.
You can deny the use of your data for this purpose anytime by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the respective message.

ADDITIVE+ LANDINGPAGE: Online Marketing and Landing Pages
Beside our website we do also operate optimized landing pages for means of hotel online marketing. To process your request, reservation, order, activation, registration or the transmission of other contact forms on our website as well as to save and store your data we use cloud services, CRM systems and software provided by ADDITIVE GMBH, 39011 Lana (BZ), Italy (“ADDITIVE”), our partner in the field of hotel digital marketing. The adequate level of data protection is based on data processing agreements with the respective company.
Our landing pages use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics enables website operators to analyse the user behavior of the visitors. The information about the user behavior is transmitted to and stored by Google on its servers.
Your IP address is collected but immediately anonymised (for example by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result the geolocation data is less accurate.

ADDITIVE has an insight into data gathered through Google Analytics. This data will be used only to analyse the use of our websites and to evaluate our marketing and distribution strategies.
Our website and landing pages also use functions provided by ADDITIVE for the multi-channel monitoring of the use of our websites as well as marketing and distribution strategies like landing pages, newsletter and social media presence. Information about your visits and submitted forms on our websites are also transmitted to ADDITIVE in order to evaluate and optimize our marketing and sales measures.
The data processing takes place in accordance with the requirements of art. 6 para. 1 lit f (legitimate interests) of the GDPR.
Our objective in accordance with the GDPR (legitimate interests) is the improvement of our products and services and our web presence through the analysis of the use of our website as well as marketing and distribution strategies.
Our website and our landing pages also use remarketing functions provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) and by Meta Platforms Inc. (“Meta”). Therefore, Meta and Google will know that you have visited our website. This way visitors of our website and of our landing pages will find ads adapted to their interests on Google’s advertising platforms and on the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram.
The data processing takes place in accordance with the requirements of art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) of the GDPR.
When you visit our landing pages a banner will inform you about the use of cookies for remarketing functions. Only by clicking on the corresponding button you consent to the use of these cookies. You can deny your consent anytime, by visiting the page containing the cookie information and denying the use in the banner that will be displayed.
Cookie banner and browser storage
On your first visit, the cookie banner asks whether you allow statistics and marketing. Nothing is preselected, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage together with a random identifier, the time and the banner version. As proof of your consent we keep the same details, without your IP address, at Cloudflare (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. After twelve months, or when new services are added, we ask again.
Only after you agree to “Marketing” do we load the ADDITIVE software (see above) and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited), through which ADDITIVE integrates the functions of Google and Meta. If you decline, none of it is loaded.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest.
